Update

Yesterday was my free day.. woke up rather late lah... it was raining while i was getting ready to go out of the house and i prayed that the Lord would stop the rain (I hate going out with umbrellas : ) and immediately, as i was watching the window, the sun shone in! And after rebuking the rain, a while later the rain stopped.. haha... so i thank God i din have to use my umbrella in the end.. :)

Den hor.. i took my own sweet time to get out of the house so when i was crossing the road just before reaching the bus stop, it started to rain again, this time rather heavily.. so i frantically started praying again inside of me that God would stop the rain.. you know i dun like running.. as in i try not to run for busses unless i'm late for school and i'd rather take my own sweet time asking God to stop the rain than quickly make my way to the shelter... and so the Holy Spirit was speaking to me to just go and hurry up to the bus stop lah... and so... God gave us all a common sense for a purpose... =P

So met Dot and Jerry at Bugis and we made our way down to SMU to makan a bit and meet Amanda during her break... as usual there were a lot of funny stuff that went on that i dun think i'll blog abt lah... (maybe if u'd give me a ring during ur free time, i'll tell u ;) shhh... )

Den we met Al, Hui En and Nicholas for din din.. then we went to NAFA for another round of recording but the instruments were not working properly lah but we still got some work done...

Alvin sent us back and inside the car, we were talking about something which i found was worth blogging about lah.. You know that child-like faith is like a set of lenses with which we view the world.. it's a world view, a paradigm that affects the way we act, the way we respond and react to the world around us- to situations, to difficulty, to people, to everything! And so it's all the more important that we dun lose it, that we dun decide to drop it and that we dun be cynical looking at the world around us.. It's a question of whether God, from the inside of us, changes the world or whether the world, from the outside changes us... but there's one good thing about these sort of things.. we can only lose our child-like faith by choice.. it's us who decide what we believe and it's us who decide the way we react/respond to the things around us...

Today was my long day... supposed to have 3 lectures but woke up late... i thought that my timetable started at 10 but in fact, it was supposed to start at 9 so ended up missing TS lecture.. :P oops..

den had sociology lecture which was quite interesting.. had the film and cultural text module in the afternoon lah.. during the lecture, the lecturer posted a pic of a lady on the screen and asked us to say something about her from what we see in the pic.. and so L**, who was sitting beside me, said something really funny lah so i laughed quite loudly and instinctively and it was embarassing cos like the whole lecture heard it!!! Den the lecturer stoped lecturing and remarked "That was quite a vicious laughter".. It's a good thing that NUS students are mature enough not to turn around and try to figure out who it was... :P
