Stirrings...

I'm really thankful to God for all the things He has been doing in my life.. but especially from His presence and continual fellowship with Him... It's like i can see Him at work in my life everyday if not almost.. i know i havent really been blogging cos i've been doing a lot of things but He's really just so real..

I experience Him through all those times when He would just begin to stir me when i'm alone.. like last week when i would be at my computer listening to worship songs and His presence will just invade the atmosphere.. like how on sunday when i took up those drumsticks feeling the favour of God upon me, a certain boldness came over me and i played the drums like i've never played them before.. Like just now when i took up my guitar while waiting for something in the com to load and then the Holy Spirit just came.. like how i get stirred inside me and just spontaneously start speaking in tongues when i'm doing random things, even while watching TV... Like how i feel His presence with me sustaining me during all those late nights i had to dish something out for school the next morning.. Like how He would still sustain me in school with little sleep the night before.. Like how Holy Spirit came last fri during Gatekeepers and totally spoiled my prayer agenda but told me that all i needed to do was just to be there... Like how the Holy Spirit would just guide me in the small things that i do and give me ideas on what to say or do, even in my schoolwork...

In all this, He's showing me that He holds me.. that I'm in His arms and that there's nothing i can do to ever go too far from Him cos He's always there.. And He was showing me that my spirituality doesn't depend on the things i do or the disciplines that i walk in but how much i yield to Him and how much i allow Him to work in my life.. He was showing me that righteousness doesn't depend on what i do cos i cannot trust myself.. but i can trust Him and as i surrender to Him, He's the One who's gonna work it through... I've been afraid that someday, sometime, i might just fail Him or do something wrong... but He shows me how i'm held by Him and how i can't go too far... all i have to do is trust Him...

Many times, we don't think we need Him but we really do.. in fact, we need Him more than we actually think we do! And that's what makes me sad.. when people just treat Him as an option... not as the ultimate goal of our very existence! Cos many times, we don't see how much we really need Him.. Like the church of Laodicea in Revelations.. we think we are so much better off ourselves, running our lives our own way... But He wants us.. even in our unworthy state.. He sees us, searches us and knows us.. and He's all acquainted with all our flaws, imperfections and sins... and He's even aware of more of them than we're aware of.. but still He wants us, still He calls us to Himself, still He beckons to us to eat with Him... still He loves us...

Have you met Him today?? :)
