Favour!

I'm just so amazed at how great God is... i was trying to change my tutorial allocation slots cos i wanted to free up my monday afternoons and in order for me to do that, i had to wrestle with the nus administration system.. and this is what i had to do:

1. Move my HY2253 tutorial from 4-5 to 2-3 (provided there are places left in that slot)
2. In order for me to do that, i have to move my MKT1003 tutorial from 2-4 to 11-1 (provided there are slots left) and this is a different faculty; business.. which makes things a little more complicated.. i had to fill in a form and wait for a reply from them which i eventually got..
3. In order for them to move my MKT1003 tutorial, i have to contact my HY2250 teacher first and get the history department to waive my lecture from 8-12 so that i can free up my 11am slot.. (the teacher was gonna let us go by 11 but in the system, it's reflected as 12)

So it all involved messing around with the computer system and talking to different administrators and straddling from one faculty to another... well guess wad.. i had the favour of God with me! After my HY2250 lecturer told me he's not too optimistic, i then approached the staff processing my HY2253 application and explained to her the complicated moves i had to make just to be able to transfer to that tutorial slot... and then she sent my back to my lecturer to get his written approval and when i went back to her, she managed to waive the lecture slot so icould get into the MKT1003 tutorial! (That's no. 3. done.. 2 more to go!) Then i gave the administrator at business a phone call and told her that she could now register me for the 11-1 tutorial which she did! Once that was done, i called the history department again to explain to them that i could now make it for the HY2253 tutorial from 2-3!

So at the end of the day, everything just went very smoothly and my problem was solved! And i knew that God's hand was in the situation.. cos He was the One who prompted me to approach the staff in the history department for help and guess wad.. she happened to be a Christian too (cos i could see all the verses plastered over her office cubicle).. and she was very patient with all my requests here and there...
