Thoughts on YAM...

Yesterday went for Young Adults combined cell... and Raja, Gerald and Vera spent some time sharing what's on their heart for the ministry. After that, then we just had a time of prayer... there were certain things that i sense was on God's heart yesterday.

As they talked about "birthing the ministry" through prayer, i was listening to what the Holy Spirit might say concerning the plans and the purposes He has for YAM... and i just felt in my heart that He won't reveal it until He finds someone who will be faithful to bring it forth.. It's just like taking care of a baby- when a vision is birthed forth, it needs to be looked after and taken care of until we truly see it reach it's full maturity. And no matter how people may see it in the light of their own committments or "personal obligations", it is nonetheless a responsibility and people need to take ownership for it. Thus, birthing forth a ministry and a vision is something more than what we may think... Hence, if there's one prayer pointer I would recommend for YAM it's that we pray that God would send labourers- not the hired hand but the shepherd who lays down his life- and more than that, the father who is fully committed to seeing his child develop his full potential... labourers that are willing to take ownership and responsibility to see the vision mature. Once there is harvest of true labourers, then that's when we will truly see the Lord leading YAM in the accomplishment of His purposes...

What do you think??
