saturday...

Saturday was such a very eventful day.. and i guess i really enjoyed myself having done so many things... went for early morning prayer meeting (though i didnt get much sleep the night before) but thankfully i was quite awake alert enough not to doze off during the time of waiting upon God... And during that time, God deposited a lot of stuff in my spirit...

after that went to help the runners out with the water point in bishan park... haha.. den came back to church to catch a quick nap cos i really felt i was dozing off... that short nap proved to be really effective and i became more alert for the rest of the day...

den met my Xiaomei for violin session.. she din teach me violin this time but i taught her how to flow in the presence of God with her violin.. so both of us were in the band room.. she was on her strings while i was on the keys... and den we worshipped together as the Holy Spirit led us into a time of warfare... I saw fire coming down.. the anointing of God... and angels coming down too... i also saw a sword come down from God and it became a flaming sword...

i told my xiaomei that her violin was an instrument of war... it was a modern day harp, like abow from which you shoot your arrows... Isa 30:32 talks about how God's judgments are to the sounds of tambourines and harps... and in this case, it's important to understand how stringed instruments are used for spiritual warfare.. i enjoyed myself in the presence.. and my xiaomei is quite good and anointed... she played really well for her first time flowing in the presence together with me... and she told me that surprisingly it wasnt so difficult... i told her to make use of the gift that God has given her..

after that we prayed before the service... and my heart was so gripped by God for those who haven been coming to youth... i felt that God wasnt happy with us being so cliquish.. and i felt that if we couldnt even reach out to those at our own backyard, how could we expect Him to add more people into the ministry...so i was praying and asking God to forgive us.. and as i was crying out for them, i felt God asking "Who will be the first one to reach out?" we can talk about the issue, lament about it till the cows come home but what good will it be if we don't do anything about it???

during LG, gave the guys a test... muahahahaha... top scorer was Jon Jon.... followed by Nigel, Jon Jr and Lele who all tied together!!! lol... den during service, Manda sang the song Lord of All and it really ministered to me... the words of the song were really something that i was crying out to God.. den what Auntie Quee Eng shared was very interesting and i felt that some of the words that she released from the Lord for the congregation were directly for me as well.... relentless pursuit...

after service, watched dark knight with some of my LG members plus jaron... we went to j8 first and saw jk, sam low and company there (dunno how they got there so fast)... den when we gotto the box office, there was only 1 ticket left so we checked out the timings for yishun... and i realised that we can actually buy tickets from another outlet so in Bishan, we bought tickets for the timeslot in Yishun... it would have saved me a lot of pain if i had known earlier that this sorta thing was possible... the show was really really good... i mean really... i enjoyed it quite well.. it lasted for quite a long time so some ppl ended up taking the last bus home... lol...

decided to send jaron and lele home by cab... and as the two boys went to go and buy drinks, pastor lele surprised me with a gesture of buying a drink for me... haha... i din even say i was thirsty or anything.. he just did it... and constantly i find myself being surprised by his little gestures like this... small things that i will treasure deeply in my heart...

very eventful day indeed....
